Healing from Hidden Scars: Understanding Trauma to Inform Patient Care

Trauma can linger like a shadow, and our patients carry histories we may never fully know or understand. Join us for the next NPhA Zone II meeting where our special guest Dr. Helen Sairany will help you understand the different ways trauma manifests in our bodies so you can foster a healing environment that is sensitive to the hidden scars in all of us.

Dr. Sairany is the author of 3 books, and her interest in trauma stems from her personal experience living through wars, navigating complex relationships, and continually learning what it means to be human. Through these experiences she’s developed a deep understanding of trauma and is passionate about sharing her message with the world.
